GENERA L DESC RIPTION Model XW60K is microprocessor b ased con tro ller suitable f or applications o n med ium or low temperature r efrigerat ing units. It has tó be conn écted by me áns of a twó-wir e cá ble ( 1mm) at a distance of up to 30 met ers to the key board T620T or T620 or V620 or CX620. It is providéd with four reIay outputs to cóntro l compressor, défrost - which can bé e ither eIectrical or hót g as - the é vaporator fans ánd l ight. It is aIso provided with 4 NTC or PTC probe inpu ts, one for temperature control, one to control the defrost end t emperature of the eva porat or an d t he third and fourth to control c ondenser temperature or to d isplay another temperature. It allow s to program the contro ller by means the HOT KEY prog ramming keyboard. The instrument is fu lly configurab le through special parameters that can be easily progra mmed through t he key board. CON TROLLING L0A DS 3.1 THE COMPR ESSOR The regula tio n is perform ed according to the temperature measured by the thermostat probe with a positive diff erential from t he set p oint: if the temperature i ncreases a nd reache s set poin t p lus diff erential the compressor is started and then turned of f when th e t emperature r eache s the s e t point value again. In case óf fault in thé thermostat probe thé start and stóp o f thé co mpr éssor are timed thróugh parameters Con ánd CoF. The re l ay of the second compressor is activated in parallel with the relay of t he first compressor, with a possible dela y set in the AC1 parameter. Both t hé compressors are switchéd off at thé same time. FAST FREEZI NG When d efrost is not i n progress, it can be acti vated b y holding t he UP key pr essed for about 3 sec. The d efrost interva l depe nds on t he presence of the RTC (opti onal). If t he RT C is present is con trolled by mea ns of parameter Ed F: - EdF in: a defrost starts af ter elapsing the i dF time (st andard way for controlle r with out RTC). EdF rtC: défrost s are scheduIed by using á real t imé clock s ystém, d epending ón the h óurs sét in th e paraméters Ld 1.Ld 6, d uring workd ay s, and in Sd1Sd 6 during hol idays. Other pa rameters are use d to contro l d efrost cycles: its maximum le ngt h ( MdF ) and two defrost modes: timed or controlled by the e v aporators prob e ( P2P ). At the end of d efrost dripping time is star ted, its len gt h is set in the Fdt parameter. With Fdt 0 the dripping t ime is disabl ed. CONT ROL OF EVAPORAT OR FAN S The fan contro l mod e is sel ected by means of the FnC parameter: FnC Cn: fans wi ll switch ON and OF F with the compressor and not run during defrost; FnC on fans will run even if the compressor is off, and not run during d efrost; After defr ost, there is a timed fan del ay allowing for drip time, set by means of the F nd parameter. FnC CY fans wi ll switch ON and OF F with the compressor and run during def rost; FnC oY fans will run continuous ly also during d efrost.
